The Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association Hooks, who had seven wins, two losses, and one tie in the regular season for ages 7-8, competed against the Giants, who went undefeated in the regular season. The Hooks beat the Giants in an early-playoff matchup, but they met again in the Gold Division championship. The Giants won the first game 9 to 4, but because the playoffs are double-elimination, a rematch had to be played immediately after, resulting in the eighth game in eight days for the Giants. In the final game, the Hooks rallied to win 12 to 6, and were presented with their first-place trophies. Afterward, Jacob Witte, Thomas Womble, Cameron Ertan, Robby Hendrix, Michael Peavy, Jackson Staley, Luke Nini and Miles Reitman (pictured) and (not pictured) Todd Dixon, Alexander Donnelly, Jack Ramsey, Chance Voorhees and Beckham Wagner ran through their team sign.
