Tiger Cub Scout Den

Frostwood Elementary first graders and members of the Tiger Cub Scout Den, including (pictured, from left) Major Tarwater, Nikolas Ward, Aaron Xiong, Patrick Yong, Devin Schueppert, William Marrs and Nolan Tran, visited The Buzz Magazines. The purpose of the visit was to earn a media badge by visiting a media company to learn how the industry operates. The boys watched a video clip of The Buzz being printed on a web press. During their visit, the rodeo-themed March issue was delivered to the office, so the boys got to see the issue “hot off the press” before it was delivered in the mail to their homes. Many of the boys shared their love of writing, reading and photography. Maybe one day, you’ll see their names as contributors on these pages.
